Ferrari has redesigned the engine bay at the top to preserve cooling & optimized the exhaust resonator system.

296 GTS consists of a 3L, twin-turbocharged V6 engine with an electric motor linked to a 7.5kwh battery

The engine generates 818hp & 545lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
